Answer to Prayer!
It has been several months that our school has been functioning at a deficit. The price of food has more than tripled and life for the people on the island has grown increasingly more difficult. However, after a brief trip to Gracepoint Gospel Fellowship in New City, New York our prayers were answered! The generous congregants of the church stepped up to meet the needs of the children and thus the community of the island of Ile a Vache. Many responded when the message was heard about the need for more children's sponsors for the students of the Good Samaritan School of Caille Coq. Thank God many were moved to action and reached out not only becoming sponsors, but the church graciously gave bonus gifts to our weary teachers and staff! What a cup of cold water for people who have been struggling for so long. The school still needs more sponsors, but this effort on the part of the church in New York has truly lifted us out of the danger zone in terms of finances.
